Chamber Management Services (CMS) is a trading name owned by Bradford, Leeds and York & North Yorkshire Chambers. Based at Bradford Chamber of Commerce CMS offers a broad range of quality assured services designed to help members of the 3 Chambers meet the challenges of international trade.

CMS is at the forefront of electronic advancements in export documentation and earlier this year led a national pilot project which saw the successful handover of much of the export documentation issued by Customs & Excise to the UK Chamber network.

We handle more than 15000 sets of export documents annually and deal with over 300 companies in this area of work alone. It is estimated that the department assists a further 2,500 importers and exporters through the year mostly from within the Yorkshire and Humberside region.

Our parent company, Bradford Chamber of Commerce, has a long history of organising prestigious large scale events with considerable success including business dinners for over 400 delegates, exhibition events and smaller business to business networking days with personalised programmes for participants.

We are delighted to have been chosen to organise Opportunity China.
Members of the CMS team have drawn on their past experience of supporting and attending EU Partenariat events in Syria and Germany to help design a format that has generated a staggering 700 meetings between visiting Chinese business representatives and local firms.

In 2005 we aim to take a number of Yorkshire and Humberside companies to Hangzhou under the EU’s Asia Interprise initiative to help provide a longer term package of support to those companies that have formed partnerships through attending Opportunity China.
